No, Contacts Manager for Lync Online only supports Office365 environment with the following characteristics:
- Lync Client 2013.
- Lync Online & Exchange Online.
- Lync users are UCS.
How to verify if my users are enabled for UCS?
- Press and hold Ctrl key on the keyboard and right-click the Lync client tray icon on windows task bar.
- Click Configuration Information.
- Look for the Contact List Provider line. UCS should appear.
Now after you have verified that users are enabled for UCS. We need to do some configuration from tenant side.
- Sign in Microsoft Portal with Office365 admin account.
- Go to the Exchange Admin section:
- Click dashboard, and then admin roles.
- Select Discovery Management role, and then click edit.
- On the "Discovery Management" screen, in "Roles" section, click add (+ button).
- On "Select a Role" page, select "ApplicationImpersonation", and click add, and then click ok
- On the "Discovery Management" screen, in "Members" section, click add (+ button).
- On "Select Members" page, select "Mohamed", and click add, and then click ok.
- Click Save.
- Now the configuration from Office365 tenant side is done and you can start using Contacts Manager for Lync online
